Having been out of the Navy and back in New England for about a month now, I have used my returned free time to catch up on MLS affairs and especially the Revs. Between long hours and the understandable lack of Revs’ coverage in Virginia, I had seriously lost touch with one of my three favorite sports teams. I realized just how bad it had become when I glanced at the current roster and knew less than half the players. I do feel like this could be a good time to catch more games and follow the team closer. The rumors of a second off-season French acquisition and possible Benni McCarthy signing are pretty interesting. I’m also interested to see if Nicol leans on Soares his rookie year similar to the way he did Michael Parkhurst. Either way, I hope to see the Revs come around this season and get back to the playoffs. It’s great to be back!
